Ch Milas Madam Butterfly

Ch Overland Allstar x Ch Milas Latin Diva

Tairis Collies is now home to a beautiful collie from Milas Collies-call name Bridgit. She was bred by Lynn Butler and Lotta Hedman. Bridgit’s sire is the Macho/ Paris son- Ch Overland Allstar. Bridgit’s dam is Ch Milas Latin Diva. Diva is one of the four outstanding champions from the litter sired by Ch Windhaven Stranger in Paradise (Macho) bred to Lakewind’s Dancestep of Milas.

Bridgit was handled by Lotta Hedman to her first 10 points and two majors. Then Bridgit went on a journey with Nick and Joel of Sunway Presentation to pick up her last 5 points, which included another major, to finish at 15 months. She took the points or reserve at almost every show she attended.

Some very nice dog people helped us get Bridgit. From Milas in New York to PA, to NC, to Georgia where she finished. Another nice handler transported Bridgit to Louisiana, and we picked her up there. Bridgit is a great traveller and we are completely delighted with her. She is not only a beauty but has a great temperament.

Bridgit has been a wonderful mother and a great producer. She had two champions and one international champion from her first litter sired by the Macho son- Ch Cherann’s No Stranger to Luv –Ch Avalar Tairis Radiant, and Ch Avalar Autumn Gold- owned by Judy Gorham.

Bred to GCHS Aurealis Endeavor, Bridgit produced another lovely litter which includes our girl, Poppy- Ch Tairis A League of Her Own, and major pointed Milas Rigoletto of Tairis (Jax), who has sired a top winner in Brazil. Milas Magic Flute of Tairis (Reven), another pretty girl from this litter, produced the 2018 CCA winner’s dog- Ch Milas Walk the Line.

Poppy has already proven to be a great producer too, with three champions from her first litter, including two Best in Specialty winners- GCH Tairis Runnin Down A Dream (Patton), and GCH Tairis Sweet Dreams Are Made of This (Willa).
