The Bee puppies are doing awesome. I don’t remember ever having an easier, more robust litter in over 30 years of raising collies. The puppies are still a lot of work, but they are worth it. Playing with them is better than taking a blood pressure pill! I wish they could bottle the feeling of puppies in my lap, kissing my face.

I have just started adding a pan of puppy milk formula mixed with a little puppy food to start the weaning transition period. The puppies will be 4 weeks old tomorrow and sweet Bee is not wanting to nurse as long as she did in the beginning. I’m sure her nipples are getting sore.

I have been watching these puppies since birth, as their personalities and conformation develop. They have a long way to go, but I am very pleased with how they are coming along. I think they are getting prettier everyday.

Here are some pix of the pups at about 3 to 3 and a half weeks of age.

This is the correct pedigree of the Kaboom/ Bee puppies.

There are lots of great collies in this pedigree. I posted a pedigree earlier that had an error. This one should be correct. I hope the qualities of some of these outstanding collies will shine through in Bee’s puppies.

Next milestones are a vet health check for the pups at 7 weeks and an eye exam at 8 weeks.

Due to me getting huge amounts of SPAM calls, I am changing my phone number. It’s sad to have to do that after having the same number over 24 years, but enough is enough on the SPAM. Please email me to connect at tairiscollies@yahoo.com I can pass on my phone number from there.

We will be celebrating July 4th hugging our dogs, sharing watermelon, and praying for America.
